Labour not working

The chairman (Frik Birkenstock)

Dear Frik,

As a concerned shareholder of the share block scheme I write this letter.

It has come to my attention that on Friday 30 July 2010 Mt Dawid Bosch informed the share block scheme labour force that an anonymous letter was received regarding their quality and quantity of work they supply the share block scheme. I am not sure what Mr. Dawid Bosch has to do in respect of the labour force and /or their quantity of work? Any ‘theoretical logical thinking’ man would come to the conclusion that Mr Dawid Bosch was just acting as messenger.

It is a very irresponsible practice that was performed though because:

1)       How does the management know it was not a hoax or letter to stir up emotions and /or become derogatory towards the labour force? If it was derogatory towards the labour force an investigation by the police for crimen injuria could be started against the persons concerned.

2)       This is a direct reflection on the manager of the labour force because he /she is performing their duties in supervising the labour according to their job description.

3)       Should the person that complained be known why the labour force was told it was unknown? That is a lie that could be considered a fraud charge being instigated against the parties concerned.

4)       It appears that the labour was given no opportunity to defend their innocence. It was a fate completed whereby the managers that gave Mr. Dawid Bosch the permission to go ahead and instate punishment acted as ‘judge, jury and executer’ on unsubstantiated rumours.

5)       The labour force, being illiterate, had no ability to impartially have the letter analyzed? Should the police / union / CCMA then not have had a say?

The purpose of this letter is:

1)       To inform the chairman of the incident

2)       To ask the chairman to notify the manager concerned re the incident

3)       To ask the chairman to start an investigation as to substance of letter of complaint.

4)       To ask the chairman to institute legal processing against the members concerned that may have ‘jumped the gun’ or ‘mislead’ the labour force.

5)       To ask the chairman to instate procedures to give the labour (as the law requires) fair disciplinary hearings.

Sincerely
